Latest Tesseract in Tika

Hi!
Newest available version of Tesseract is 5.x. but the latest tika is still 
using 4.x. Is it possible to upgrade version of tesseractOCR in Tika?
Additional question: I saw the release of new version of 1st series of Apache 
Tika (1.28.5) is announced. What's the reason 1st series is still improving 
while the 2.x is available and also upgrading?
