Hi All,

anyone has idea why I cannot uninstall Apache 2.2? It seems that
'system-repository' depend on it. But I don't see anybody running

And generally I don't think it's good idea if someone wants to have
minimal system to force him to have Apache 2.2 there...

Any comments?

The system repository is used by the packaging system when zones are
present. I don't think there's any way to remove it. We needed a caching
proxy, and Apache fit the bill quite well. I think we looked at lighttpd,
but it was pulled from SFW some time ago, and apache was the only option.

Problem is that we are shipping Apache in 32/64bit and prefork/worker modes. So it's big... I can imagine that someone won't want to have Apache on system. Maybe also because it can be vulnerable...

lighttpd was moved to Userland.
