Ah, Alan said this back in August in response to a question about a
strangely ordered p5m file:
Set the environment variable PKGFMT_OUTPUT=v1 before running pkgfmt.
The latest IPS builds default to a new pkgfmt output version that ON hasn't
switched to yet.
So yeah, should we still be using PKGFMT_OUTPUT=v1 ?
I haven't seen anything since then so maybe I should still have that set...

Ah. I noticed that I still have:
export PKGFMT_OUTPUT=v1
in my ~/.bashrc. I bet that's the difference.
I'm glad you found that because I was at a loss to explain why the
dir/file/link lines were all intermixed myself! I was as surprised as
you were to see the .p5m file ordering of the lines and I was assuming
at first I did something wrong - but then looking at what it did it
kind of makes sense. I should have looked back through my emails to
confirm it but I think I remember seeing something about the pkgfmt
output changing a while back?
Thanks for the review!
Kevin.
What's the preferred pkgfmt output nowadays?

How did you end up with the funky xz.p5m file? ;-)
The "dir" lines are all over the place. Did you run pkgfmt on it?
Other than that, it looks fine.
