Just talked with Mike on this. So even though xz has just been integrated into
the Userland consolidation and will be built in build #8, I can't use it,
because
it's not part of the CBE (which is based on solaris 11 FCS).
So, unless that changes, it looks like the only solution here is to download
the new GNU grep .xz compressed tarball, and remunge it into a .tar.gz,
stuff it into our private area for custom tarballs, and adjust the GNU grep
component Makefile to pick up that.
Something to talk about at the c-team meeting tomorrow.
(Alan, you hopefully are making a note of this, as yet another case for
having the S11U1 CBE for build n be based on build n-2).
