Is there a 1:1 & onto relationship between the .el.gz files in gnu-emacs-lisp and gnu-emacs? Seems like there might be some room for autogenerating one from the other, and reducing the amount of copy/paste work that appears to be necessary currently. For dldump.patch and sysmalloc.patch, nothing's changed but the patch header, so there's no reason to include them. Looks fine otherwise.
