I had these in my logs once as well. Nothing appeared to be wrong when looking at a pcap of the aox-pgsql stream. From glancing at the source and observations about my setup at the time (aox and pgsql in different regions) it seemed to be latency/timeout related. I didn't investigate further. Eventually I brought the two services back into the same DC and this behavior stopped.
