Apparently it just means it's a NULL value -- probably uninteresting. I still have the pcap, however.
I think additional logging in areas like the pg data row ctor could bring more insight. The exception travels up a deep stack, so there are plenty of other places to log as well. I don't have time currently.
ps. I also see a double-free() from time to time. :( I'll start a new thread on that.
