It's difficult to maintain two versions of AppFuse, so I doubt it. You could probably add the Ant tasks to your project and do it yourself though. We do plan on adding Ant support to 2.x. In fact, if you run full-source on a "basic" project, you can use Ant right now. http://appfuse.org/display/APF/FAQ#FAQ-usingant Is the only reason you want to use 1.x vs. 2.x because of Ant vs. Maven? One of the things I really like about 2.x is you don't really need to use Maven. Just create your project files, use "mvn jetty:run" and do everything from your IDE. This was difficult to do with 1.x, or at least not as easy. Also, it looks like WTP 2.0 (part of Eclipse Europa) will be supported by Maven in the near future. http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MECLIPSE-264 Matt > > How about also making it easy to consume WebServices using any of the > supported webservices engines ? > > Thank you, > > BR, > ~A > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Matt > Raible > Sent: Monday, September 24, 2007 7:16 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [appfuse-user] Swing integration > > For 2.0, we've created an appfuse-core archetype that can hopefully be > used as a backend for any application.
