OK, I'd thought I'd hunted properly through the AppFuse source, but I was 
thrown off the scent by the fact that BaseControllerTestCase had moved 
location.  I note that in 2950, Matt has modified BaseControllerTestCase to 
switch on support for LazyInitialization by default so I shouldn't be getting 
this exception.

It must be something dumb I'm doing somewhere - I'll investigate further.
