-->> FeedBack/Solution for *Cargo* to use *pre*-existing *TomCat* 6:
first of all u really need to setup *CATALINA_HOME* as Enviroment Var (if
u want run Tomcat(startup.bat) whereever dir u are, u optionally may
set '%CATALINA_HOME%\bin' in Path Var (Win Config)!).
No changes are need in <!-- Cargo settings --> session (since u remove/put
as commentary the hole <zipUrlInstaller> element in
cargo-maven2-plugin<http://appfuse.org/display/APF/FAQ#FAQ-useexistingtomcat>).
3ยบ (and more important): u must add the tag '<type>existing</type>' within
the element <configuration>. (and also repeat 'home' setting). (at least, it
was the *only* way I get make it work out! :o) Thus your config should get
like this: '
<wait>${cargo.wait}</wait>
<container>
<containerId>${cargo.container}</containerId>
<home>${cargo.container.home}</home>
</container>
<configuration>
<type>existing</type>
<home>${cargo.container.home}</home>
<properties>
<cargo.hostname>${cargo.host}</cargo.hostname>
<cargo.servlet.port>${cargo.port}</cargo.servlet.port>
</properties>
</configuration>
'! Hope helping,
