That works for me too! I effectively remeber to have changed the back to front order of an element, but I don't remember what I was trying to do...

Thanks a lot, but I was able to "reopen" it. I extracted the XMI file, imported it from another project, and recreated the class diagram I was working on importing all the classes in a new class diagram (I only had sixteen classes when that happened). Anyway, I don't remember having changed the back to front order of any element, at least explicitly.

If you can provide me with a copy of your project I should be able to
fix it so that you can read it and work with it.

The only thing you should avoid with alpha 3 is changing the back to
front order of diagram elements. If you then save you will not be able
to reload.

This bug will be fixed in the next alpha release,
