Check your settings to make sure that "Show Visibility" is checked under the Notation tab. Is there another way? >From a semantic point of view an Exception is a subtype of a Signal, so you can model it using a raisedSignal on a Method or Operation for the sending side and the a Reception for the receiving side, however, we don't really do anything useful with this from a graphical display point of view, so if you are purely creating visual diagrams, the Comment suggestion may be the best approach.
