It took me the better part of three days to get a webapp integrated with Phoenix via Sevak. I made an extensive sample showing how to do this. It's easy and straightforward, once you know what to do ;-)
Don't know if that sample app would help you, but the word is that Sevak can also run with Merlin. You could also use Phoenix, of course. I contributed the sample app to Sevak, don't know if it's committed yet, though.
