Steve,

For the time being I reverted to the 20030901 distro and used -system
instead of -repository.  Looks like the command line problem cleared up.

Personally I'd rather find out what I'm doing wrong then just use an older
distro.

I'm thinking to myself that it would perhaps be a good idea to add a 
command line parameter -create to tell Merlin to create a repository if 
it does not exist.  This would allow us to default to an exception if a 
repository was requested that did not exist.  Within that the 
repositrory/repository case would have been immediately identified as an 
issue.
