You should also have a look at :
http://avalon.apache.org/excalibur/fortress/index.html and http://avalon.apache.org/excalibur/fortress/servlet.html Which provides a snippet on setting up Fortress within a servlet. CVS also contains a few example Fortress application which build on that. Have a look at: http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/avalon/fortress/examples/src/java/org/apache/avalon/fortress/examples/servlet/ I found both of these very useful in starting with fortress. E.g. a sample webapplication > that uses framework and fortress. (all i need is a hello world....) I'll take the blame on some of the lack of examples and tutorials, simply because I keep promising to write more of them. On quick fortress + servlet example is on my wiki at: http://jadetower.org/vqwiki/jsp/Wiki?FortressServlet But it is a bit dated. There's also some information on the questions you are asking on the Avalon wiki at: http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi?AvalonProjectPages see also: http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi?AvalonContainerFAQ Again, not all of this is the latest and greatest. Feel free to post more questions as they come up. --- jaaron <http://jadetower.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] **************************************************************** NOTICE - This message is intended only for the use of the addressee named above and may contain privileged and confidential information.
