Okay, I've gone through the Wiki's and, to be honest, I have very little further clue about what is actually going on than I did when I started. So, I have a set of requirements and I want to know if Avalon Phoenix/Merlin/Fortress are right for me...
+ Have the same processes running multiple times in order to improve performance but without doing the same work even when running on different machines. + Be able to centrally monitor what work each process is currently handling and what its status is. + Be able to instantiate new instances of process types on remote machines + Be able to stop running (or halted due to error) processes Do any of the containers currently provide those sorts of services? If not, how easy (or not) would it be to incorporate those services?
