FYI, I am not Catholic, hence I am not the Pope, and the Pope (current one) will most probably not be involved in neither Magic nor Metro. But I am and will continue full speed ahead. Also, we will slowly try to convince people to move questions over to our mailing lists of DPML, even if it is about Merlin. Apache wants to shut down these mailing lists sooner or later. Finally, I have an Avalon user, Metro committed guy, Peter Neubauer, on visit here in Kuala Lumpur for a few days, so I haven't had time to be much online.
