I also like Beonex and experience the same problem with the mouse. Mine 
is an original Microsoft Intellimouse Serial or PS/2 compatible, and I 
use the latest intellimouse drivers from Microsoft : still no luck on 
Beonex (nor on Netscape6). This is unfortunate!
