Do you have another PSM installed before by any chance, e.g. for Mozilla 
or Netscape 6? IIRC, they can interfere with each other. Wipe all but 
one. ALso check the Windows Registry for "psm.exe".

Didi you disable "Software Installation" in the prefs? Try downloading 
the file first (Right-click|Save Link As...) and then opening the local 
file in the browser.
