That page says "HTML-formatted email messages[...] that Yahoo! *itself* sends" (emphasis added). This means that it does *not* apply to mail sent by Yahoo's Webmail users. But you said "email that passes through yahoo". Do you have evidence that Yahoo attaches web bugs to mails sent by users?
