Immediately after installing beonex I was able to send/receive and I was prompted for ISP account passwords, and I clicked to save them so that I would not need to re-enter them each time. For a time it worked ok. Then it stopped working - the passwords didn't seem to be sent and so I couldnt get email from my IPSs POP3 servers. I looked at Password Manager, and the passwords were NOT there. I restarted my PC and tried send/receive again. It asked for the passwords, and again was fine. I decided for other reasons not to use beonex mail client, but after reading your problem report, I tried again. The passwords are NOT in Password Manager, again, but this time it does ask when I try to send/receive - this is different from the previous behaviour. I have done several system restarts inbetween times, I have no idea if this is relevant but suspect it might be. One more bit of info, I did not restart my PC after installing beonex, but after my initial problems (as in my first paragraph above), I did wonder whether I should have done a restart after install although I don't believe it is supposed to be necessary. This is really all I can say on this problem since I decided not to use the beonex mail (this is one reason why) - definitely there seem to be situations in with Password Manager loses mail account passwords (it seems to store web passwords ok). I am running on Win2K Pro, SP 6 plus bunches of Microsoft updates (it's up to date with MS patches). Plenty of RAM and hard drive spare.
