Hi Jack,
So I have finally managed to get our biomart out of the firewall.
Here it is:
tparvadb.ilri.cgiar.org/biomart/martview

So for instance if I start the martconfigurator for Biomart 08:
./dist/scripts/martconfigurator.sh

then on the add source, I add:
tparvadb.ilri.cgiar.org

then select "biomartschema" as the mart with all the default datasets

then select "Muguga" as the value for "Add access point" then start the
server.

What you then get is a similar access point like what we have on biomart
0.7.

Now here is where the problems set in:
*In the filters section:*
If you select "Chromosome 1" under the chromosome(s) selection which is
under the REGION, and also select "EST" under the feature(s) selection

*In the attributes section:*
Select any or all of the attributes under the "Region & chromosome info"
and/or "feature info"

*Results:*
Biomart 07: a table with results is presented.
Biomart 08: no results found

This is what I don't understand.
Any assistance please?
Cheers
Howard
