I wanted to do this as well and couldn't find a way to change the displayName of dropdown box values in the martconfigurator interface. However, I could directly edit the XML and set the displayName attribute to be different to the internalName, thus showing a human-readable value in the web frontend dropdown, but allowing the backend to do a more logical query against the database.

Hope that helps?

Ellen.

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I was not mentioned the display name of the filter itself, but the actual values the user can choose from. As far as I can tell, in the "/Filter Dropdown Dialog/" popup, when you add a new item, the value of the item is also what is displayed on the web page. I was wondering if the value that is displayed could be associated with a different internal value. For instance for boolean filter, it is displayed on the page "/only/" or "/excluded/". But internally, those correspond to 0 and 1. I was wondering if something similar was possible with /single/multiselect/ filters

Thanks
Thomas
