I redownloaded the rc7 version via svn.
When I set a domain name in dist/biomart.properties (http.host), I can't
start the server:
"Time out error! server is not started within 2min."
When setting an IP address it works fine.
With nslookup, I can find the IP address beloning to the domain name,
just fine.

you can do this in RC7 via the martconfigurator (attached img)
select the attribute you want to have checked& for a particular attribute
set property default to true
