Christopher, I've been making several attempts to compile with the PGI
compilers on our local cluster. I've not said anything because I've not
been as successful as you, unfortunately. Just letting you know I
haven't forgotten.

Hello Chris,
I was curious to know if there is some mechanism when building a config
with PGI compilers that automatically adds the pghpf* libs into the make
files.
You can add any library you like to the LIBS variable in configuration
file. See eg repos/simfactory2/mdb/optionlists/bluewaters-gnu.cfg which
is used on Blue Waters for the GNU compiler.
I've tried to remove the manuall from the make files but this leave me with
errors still, and as far as I can tell, the community version of PGI do not
contain these libraries/compilers. Is there a way around this?
I am not quite sure I understand. Are you asking on how to make Cactus
find those libraries or how to avoid Cactus referring to them at all?
Yours,
Roland
