GitHub user bhorvitz added a comment to the discussion: CloudStack-KVM integration for Veeam B&R
@shwstppr Almost getting there. I created an advanced zone and the worker VM deploys. But, there are still some curious behaviors: The proxy test in Veeam times out after deployment with "Failed to deploy the worker VM: The vm status of the VM <id> did not change to Down within the expected time period". Then after this error, it deletes the worker properly. Second odd thing is that if I try to create a backup job, there are no VMs listed as available for backup but if I create a tag on a VM per the docs (veeam_tag_environment=production), the tag is visible and selectable in Veeam. Then if I try to run a backup job against that tag, it ends with warning and "no resources to process". To ensure this isn't a permission problem, the service account that Veeam uses also owns the VM I'm trying to back up. And lastly just to keep things organized, do you want this kind of testing and feedback right now? If it's still WIP, I understand that this might not be useful and I'll hold off. Otherwise, happy to help work though any problems.
