Mark Pilgrim has a CGI implementation [1] of the Atom API. How long until we see a Cocoon implementation? :)

and at the beginning of September OSCOM will organize a hackathon/sprint focused on Atom

I forgot to mention in that thread that participation is for free.
All you need is a pavilion pass, but which you should receive after signing up.
Maybe we could try to implement the Atom API during the hackathon.
