Nah, mails could be really easily read as pure text without any need for styling. And I don't want to use the styling other people like. And if you provide multipart as you did the mail size increases heavily: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=xml-cocoon-users&m=106931836717732&w=2
And IIRC html mails are unreadable in the archives?
