Yes, I've looked at it as well, it does Beans->XML,
but not XML->Beans :(

    Maybe try Betwixt
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/betwixt/
there is a betwixt block in the Cocoon bundle.

I thought about it, but I'm not sure how much it
iscoupled to the display of the form. I don't have
anyforms (or pages for that matter), just feeds.I do
like the idea of using Cocoon Forms as a sort ofan
internal "web" service, since it will allow me
tovalidate the feed, but I don't know enough about
themto know if it is actually possible.-Alex--- Joe

Hi,I have a pipeline, which takes an external XML
andneeds to validate it and write it to the database.

My

current thinking is as follows:1. Generate XML2.
Convert to a collection of beans3. Validate the
beans.4. Use Hibernate to write to the database.I'm
having problems figuring out #2. The only

thing I

was able to find which did the job
wasCastorTransformer. However it requires
settingJAVA_OPTS under Tomcat, which I may not have

control

over. Are there any other tools available?Thanks,-Alex
