Tony

Thanks for the update - the discrepancy in presentation
does not bother me that much; maybe for a newbie it
might be a bit "jarring" (;-0) If its a major effort
but not that critical, then its unreasonable to
expect a change anytime soon.

Derek

PS Sorry about the cross=post - its this web
version of my email...

It works, and has always worked. You need the official
release of Forrest (i.e. 0.5.1). Then you run 'build site'
from the cocoon top-level. This prepares some extra source
docs, like the jars.<a
href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=xml&v=56";>xml</a> table, and
then calls forrest.
This builds the set of static docs.
See http://wiki.cocoondev.org/Wiki.jsp?page=CocoonWebsiteUpdate
for some extra tips, especially images in PDFs.

However, i think that Derek is talking about the docs
via the webapp (doing 'cocoon servlet'). Yes they still
have the very old presentation with the cumbersome navigation
image buttons and stuff. This is a big <a
href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=job&v=56";>job</a> to replace.
There
are some old Wiki pages about it and no-one has managed to
take the <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=job&v=56";>job</a>
on yet. Instead it would probably be easiest to
use Forrest in webapp mode (suggest waiting until next release).

BTW Derek, there is no need to Cc me - i am on the cocoon lists.
