Is my understanding correct, the xhtml elements need a namespace value to work in the xsl processor?
Only if you have �xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"� in your XSL stylesheet. If the stylesheet does not have a namespace for html, it will recognize html elements without a namespace.
