Hans I am not aware of any such packages - could be that I have not been paying enough attention to announcements! - but I think that "general purpose" modules like these need to be promoted more... so instead of just "getting stared from scratch", you can get started with a portal/ blog/forum site which can be customized to tasted. Possibly an easier way at first so you can be sheltered from some of the "1000 Things Yo Need To Know" before getting going. Just my 2c Derek
