Hi Matthias, As a matter of fact, cocoon can host spring modules. You can plug in most every module using the well-known IoC mechanism. In a typical block you will be able to configure things in the META-INF/cocoon/spring folder. This is in my opinion one of the strong points of C3 over C2.2.
