I'd have to look into it further, but I'm pretty sure that Spring can
discover the classes for you and all you'll have to do it pull them
from the container and expose them. I'm not sure if every config
option that you support through the <endpoint> config will map to the
annotation, but it should be close.
The subsequent questions on that JIRA seemed to be more about
defaults, which would seem to apply to both the XML configured or
default configuration...
