Thanks Sergey for your reply. I was trying to reproduce this with a test app in websphere, but couldn't. It worked all good.
Then I switched back to my application and I was able to reproduce it at the first go. One interesting (and new) thing I noticed - this problem is not seen when I use JSON. Only occurs while working with XMLs.
