It is great if it works for you. I am not so sure about the CachingConnectionFactory though as it uses only one connection. I remember that I had some problems with this. I am not sure what exactly it was though.

I will ask on the activemq user list if a generic pooling solution is available or if they are willing to provide one.

Indeed, I would need a tibco one (or a more generic). For now the
CachingConnectionFactory mentioned at the top seems to do the trick
(compared to not specifying one at all).
