I am trying to connect to my LDAP address book. The address book works in Thunderbird. I can do a connection test in 1.9.73 and everything seems to be Ok. But when I try to open the table I get a time out error.
Is it possible to use an LDAP address book in 1.9.xx?
It is - works fine here. Does your LDAP access need a proxy?

No, no proxy!
It works OK with later version 1.9.74 but I don't understand why I have to use a password. I don't use a password in Thunderbird.
