Well I followed the instructions available on:
www.unixodbc.org/doc/OOoMySQL.pdf
For me this document is a classic, and following its instruction
worked for me for years. The mysql server is the local server of the
machine 127.0.0.1

This requires java, you know maybe that debian is a sort of picky
about it, where to I obtain that driver and will it work with
OO.1.1.4?
