Hmm, this is a rather sparse bug description ... The only scenario I
know where the first error message appears is when the .odb file you're
trying to connect to is readonly.

Downgrading to RC12 in an older snapshot might work. Best is probably to
wait for m114 (m112 is the latest ATM), since it will contain RC12, and
all changes on OOo side to properly work with RC12.
(The CWS for this is hslqdb3, I expect it to be integrated in m114, but
this is not guaranteed).
