Over the weekend I installed the new Beta 125 for OOo and the new 4.1.14 version for MySQL, so it is unlikely that any database could have been locked. One database opened without any problems, but the other was stuck again. All menu options greyed out and while the forms opened, I could neither edit nor add data. (All tables have a primary key and I had given myself all the MySQL privileges). I then created a new database in OOo of the *same* MySQL database. Copying a form from the old OOo database to the new one copied the problems across, but when I created a new form (in the new database) it worked fine. I then closed all databases and opened the old one again and voila, all problems solved, all menus accessible and the forms work fine. Any further ideas what could cause this behaviour?
