Regarding figures on the difference of emulated of native mode I'm sorry but I haven't. It would maybe a good idea to start the 32-bit environment do some tasks (especially video task appear to be faster), time it and repeat it in the native environment. However, I think there are too much differences (in my case FC3 kernel 2.6.12-1.1372_FC3 and FC4 2.6.12-1.1447_FC4), differences in browser version, Magick version, Gimp version, etc. that found differences (using a simple stopwatch) doesn't say much. It is simply a very subjective experience but so significant that I don't want to revert to he 32-bit version (also not of FC4). Also, although retired, I don't have much time for, in my eyes, less important issues as my current activities don't leave me much time for it. I will look into your suggestion of Connector/J3 or myODBC3.5 and let you know the results.
