Hi All

Sorry I was never able to send the my installation update information. It is
the old sad but true story. I tried but failed. Sorry, teacher! No the dog
did not eat my homework the compute did. True! I installed the ODBC
connectors in my desktop which is a sort of an experimental setup. Everything
worked but it was late so I stopped. Big mistake. Went back 2 days later to
install equivalent in laptop, found that RP Ms had been updated. Installed
updates. Big mistake. When it was all over I reinstalled system which of
course trashed email, not saved email but unsaved. With data being located in
a separate non standard partition it was of course unaffected; it is that way
so I can reinstall which is sometimes the easiest way to repair a system
especially one with screwed up updates. Sorry teacher you have heard my wine
so I will stop.

Now form a more serious point I am playing and at this moment that is exactly
what it is at attempting to set up a database of potential clients for my
company. For this I have stored a large number, probably 100,000 contacts
[names, address, company, telephone] in a number of spread sheets which go
from 10 entries to 1,000 entries. I would like to place the content of these
spreadsheets into database. For simplicity I was using the standard
OpenOffice database. the question is how does one import one of these
OpenOfficespreadsheats into a table or how does one copy and past one of
these spreadsheats into a table?

Thanks

SOTL
