Other people/companies have other interests, but are seldom able (which
is okay) or willing (which is less okay :) to spend resources on this.
(Let aside for the moment that finding your way through the code base
requires stamina for the beginners ...)
Can you say/guess if this specific problem is a tough one to start with?
I know some people that are far more experienced in C++ than I am, so I
might try to interest them....
