I think you might find that the Ubuntu packagers have deactivated the
Crash Reporter in the configuration files. They may even have excluded
it from the package completely. This wouldn't be the first time that
distribs do their own thing with the OOo build.



Thanks for your input, Alex.  That's one feature that needs to be left up to
the user.  I do think activating it should be optional, and even a switch to
turn the feature on or off, when you start experiencing crashes - and they
get solved. :-)  Anyway, I'll see what I can find out for definite.  I do
appreciate all the help, guys.

BTW, when I do get the input forms working, Base is a nice app to use.  My
thanks go out to the dev team.
