I've spent the best part of two days trying to get the PostgreSQL driver
working in OOo 2.0.1. To make a long story short: I've tried every
combination if installing/un-installing/cursing/pleading I can think of
but to no avail. The driver _will not_ show up in the combo-box for
connection to an existing database.
I have followed the instructions at:
http://dba.openoffice.org/drivers/postgresql/index.html
Heck I tried hacking the DataAccess.xcu file in every place I could find
it but it didn't work.
I hav also un-installed OOo ( Fedora Core 4 ) and removed any system
reference to OOo, re-installed OOo, and then added the driver back in.
I ran into the same issue with the SQLite driver a few months ago so I'm
wonder how I borked OOo so completely.
Any suggestions as to other routes to try, ways to test what is _really_
happening, etc?
