Sorry Frank, that was the end post of an  exchange on the forum.

The distro version of OOo was replaced with OOo distribution of 2.2.1 RC1
and made sure he had latest files mdbTools. Including mdbView.

The problem is that he had linked tables in the Access file - now that I
think of it, I am not sure what they where linked to. But they just didn't
show up properly under Linux. The problem is more mdbTools then OOo I
believe.

Unless you are saying that there additional files to be installed beyond the
OOo distribution packages.

Note to myself: I *really* need to talk to the Debian maintainers so
they remove the alpha version of our Linux MDB-integration from their
official Ooo builds! This *really* is playing hazard with the user's data!
