Ehm - no and no. It introduced a configuration option which /completely/ removes the "Edit database file" from the context menu in the data sources view (aka data source browser). Together with tampering with some other configuration files, this allows you to effectively seal all entry points (at least the ones available in the UI) to Base' application main window.
