- Open the new report builder
- Bind it to any source
- Open the report navigator -> there you see "Functions"
- Open the context menu on that entry (right mouse click)
- Create New Function
- in the property browser you now can define the function, give it a
name first
E.g.
Name: count_grp
Function: [count_grp] + 1
Initial value: 1
Now you can bind this function on a formatted field.
