But it touches the core of another problem.

Many people seem to think using base is for Joe User. I think it isn't.
At least the user has to have some basic database knowledge or he'll be
lost quickly.

Explaning a complex tool to average users is nearly impossible and
trying to do leads to writing masses of unreadable text.

In general I'd vote for having docs addressed to the more technically
trained user plus having some tutorials explaining basic things in small
steps to Joe.
