Good man! Well, i'm able to add another column to the end of
the columns by clicking on one of the fields. This adds another
column with the name of one of the other columns (the name is the same
as the one i clicked on). However none of the fields in this column
is editable -- i can't change the name, nor add an alias, nor will the
cursor appear in any of the other fields.
Are we getting there? :D Have a great afternoon! :)
BUG - you can not edit the last column in the GUI designer field grid at
all. Can't even un tick the display field check box..at least not with
my copy of 2.3.1 under XP...
You know there might actually be an open issue about that..if not there
will be.
But for your purposes today.
Add a column, that is a duplicate of one you actually want - then use
the column from the original for your calculated field...You can always
rearrange the column order if you like...you can do that with the last
column....all though it seems to remember that it is 'the' last column
and remains adamant about not allowing any edits, even when dragged into
a different location on screen...
